Doug was raised in a Catholic family and learned about Jesus at a very young age.  Around the age of 33 he came to faith in Jesus and was saved.  He committed his life to the Lord Jesus at this time and as he says he is "being led by the Holy Spirit ever since." 

Doug has been a member of LRBC since 1994, the longest of any current member.

Favorite Scripture:  John 3:35 & 36 "  The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hands. The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who rejects the Son will not see life; instead, the wrath of God remains on him."

Favorite Bible Character:  The Apostle John

Favorite Bible Story:  The rich man and Lazarus.

Doug and his wife Sheri have two children.  He says that his hobby is "growing old" - and he is quite good at it!  He is currently a heavy equipment operator.
