John came to Christ at a young age.  He says, "As a child I had a basic understanding of good and evil, right and wrong, reward and punishment.  I attended a church, by myself in Bellevue, Nebraska where a Sunday School teacher explained Heaven and Hell to me.  i decided then and there to accept God's great offer of forgiveness and salvation.  Afterward, I went home and told one of my sisters about salvation, and trough her to church with me the following Sunday.  Eventually God led my parents and my other two sisters to Him."

He has been a member of LRBC since 2012.

Favorite Scripture:  Zephaniah 3:17 "The Lord your God is among you, a warrior who saves.  He will rejoice over you with gladness.  He will be quiet in his love.  He will delight in you with singing.”

Favorite Bible Character:  The Apostle John (of course)!

Favorite Bible Story: The pre-flood stories in Genesis.

John and his wife Anna, have one son.  His hobbies are reading, gardening, music, movies, and enjoying fellowship with his brothers and sisters in Christ.

He is currently the owner of Gaiser Pets, in Yuba City, CA, and is active in the Gideons ministry.
