Thanks for stopping by our website.  Loma Rica Baptist Church, or LRBC, is located in the foothills of Yuba County, in California. our Pastor, Dave Peterson, has been with us since October of 2004.


Pastor Dave preaches expository messages, verse by verse, through books of the Bible.  So far, he has preached through Habakkuk, Malachi, Matthew, Mark, Acts, Romans, Philemon, Hebrews, 1 Peter and part of the Psalms.  While we are a part of the Southern Baptist Convention of churches, as Pastor Dave is fond of saying, “This isn’t your grandfather’s Southern Baptist Church.”   We’d love to have you stop by for a visit.  If you have any questions about us or what we believe, please give Pastor Dave a call.

Mid-Week Study

Currently we are not meeting at the church for our mid-week study.  We are meeting online through ZOOM, and anyone who would like to participate is welcome to do so.  Just contact Pastor Dave so he can send out an invitation to you.


The online study is at 7:00 PM every Wednesday evening, and lasts for about 45 minutes.


We are currently study is "Living In Light of the Resurrection" from 1 Thessalonians.

Bible in a Year

At LRBC we formed a Bible Reading Group about four years ago.  Every year we hand out a new Bible Reading plan for the church to go through, and we have a Facebook group set up for those who want to join us. Currently, this page is for those who are reading with us, through the New Testament in a year, to post what they learn, what they read, and what God has shown them. You don’t have to be a part of our church to post here, just read along with us, and post the passages that speak to you, and your thoughts on them. All posts do need to be approved by the moderator, and only posts that deal with the daily passage, or the book of the Bible that is currently being read through will be approved.  If you would like to join our Facebook group, just send a request to the moderator, Pastor Dave Peterson.
